A Little Bit About Fiona

Fiona is a CORU registered Occupational Therapist, and member of the Association of Occupational Therapist Ireland (AOTI).

Fiona graduated from the University of Limerick with a Masters in Occupational Therapy (Professional Qualification) in 2007 and has for the past 15 years worked as Occupational Therapist in a variety of Clinical, Community and University settings. These have included Senior Occupational Therapist at Children’s Disability Services, Special Education, and the area of Community and Inpatient Mental Health.

Fiona is passionate and committed to providing a high quality family centred service that is rooted in embracing a neurodiverse and strengths based approach. She enjoys working with children of all ages and their families and assisting them to achieve their goals and a better sense of well being.

Fiona has worked on various art and community integrative mental health projects across the Munster region and has provided evidence based workshops to various community organisations such as Tusla, HSE, Voluntary Services, Children’s Disability Teams, Fostering and Respite Services, Schools and Education Departments and Universities.

Fiona believes that all children and young people have potential to grow and to flourish no matter what the diagnosis, past history, medical condition or environment is.

Fiona enjoys playing guitar, meditation, outdoor swimming, painting, hiking; and most of all enjoying time spent with family, her son Noah and dog Maisie.
